Eivind Seljeseth is working within the field of dance and choreography. He is based in Oslo, Norway, working nationally and internationally. His artistic practice spans from performing in works by others, creating his own work to collaborative creations. His choreographic interest is expansive and can materialize within different formats. His main artistic objective is a specific «poetifying» of spaces, places and situations through bodily, technical, virtual and conceptual interventions. Eivind Seljeseth is a graduate of Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) (MA in Choreography) and School of new dance, Oslo (now University College of Dance Art).
As a performer Seljeseth have been working with different groups and choreographers such as Ingri Fiksdal, Heine Avdal & Yukiko Shinozaki / fieldworks, Eva-Cecilie Richardsen, Hege Haagenrud, Holte/Westgård and Myhre/Wahlstrøm.
Eivind Seljeseth is involved in different collaborations in the Norwegian art field. In the recent years, the most extensive collaborations have been with Kristin Ryg Helgebostad, Ingeleiv Berstad and Tormod Carlsen through projects like AV HISTORISK GRUNN and Lulleli for Fruholmen fyr.
